Cake Decorating
All of these Cakes I have designed and decorated my self (and on occasion with help from my amazing Nanna).
Enjoy!
My Cousin wanted a How I Met Your Mother themed cake. So I went with the Yellow Umbrella.
My Boyfriend loves basketball so for his 20th Birthday I made him this.
This was my very first attempt at making sugar flowers and I was very happy with how they turned out. I made a basic chocolate cake to put them on for my mum's 49th.
This was during high school for my friend Taylor's 18th.
My 20th Birthday Cake. Made very late at night.... but with more sugar flowers :)
This was made as a Birthday cake for my Mum, Aunty and Pa and also a going away cake for my Nanna and Pa who were going to England. I'm really not happy with the icing on the flag. It was the middle of winter and it was so cold the icing would barely come out of the piping bag. However I am happy with my writing.
My most favourite cake ever. My sweet 16 :)

Thursday January 14 2015
On Thursday I had my muesli again today. This time with raspberries, kiwi fruit and chia seeds. So good!
For dinner I made bolognese, with salad and mashed sweet potato.
Bolognese: 500g mince beef browned in the pan, 1 jar of Dolmio pasta sauce, chopped mushrooms, zucchini and tomato, mixed herbs, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
I mashed the sweet potato with a little bit of butter and it was so delicious! It goes really nicely with the bolognese - even better than white potato.
Today I had 4 serves of fruit and 8 serves of veggies.
I got my dairy from the cheese and yoghurt.
Iron from the mince beef.
Grains from the Chia seeds and muesli.
Very nutritious day :)
Always the same new years resolution am I right?
My boyfriend and I tried to go the whole of January without eating Chocolate. I lastes 4 days, he lasted about a week. LOL nevermind. I have been eating pretty crap the last couple of days anyway so I went shopping and am going to try and give my body the good food it deserves from now on...
Wednesday January 13 2015
I woke up around lunch time so I only ate 2 meals today.
Breakfast/Lunch: 1pm
Bowl of Coles' brand summer fruits muesli, greek yoghurt, 1 banana, some rock melon, 1 peach and 2 strawberries, drizzled with honey and a sprinkle or 2 of cinnamon.
Very delicious and very filling until dinner.
Dinner: 6.30pm
Omelette - 3 eggs, half a chopped tomato, hand full of chopped spinach, grated cheese and salt and pepper. With salad - lettuce, tomato, avocado, mushrooms, cucumber and a can of Coles tomato and basil tuna.
Very very yummy. My cat was eyeing it off too.
Snacks: several handfuls of sweet fresh raspberries that Mum bought at Safeway. They just melt in your mouth. The one good thing about Summer- the fruit!
Drinks: 2 diet cokes (whoops) and I'm trying to finish off my 3rd water bottle as we speak.
Proud to say, no chocolate today!
